1. What we collect
When you request service we collect your name, email, phone number, service address, current trash provider and monthly bill, and desired service level. When you become a customer we also collect payment information, which is processed and stored by Stripe — TRSH never stores your full card or bank details.
2. How we use it
We use your information to arrange and manage your trash collection service: obtaining competitive rates from licensed haulers, setting up billing, coordinating pickups, and contacting you about your account. We also use aggregated, de-identified pricing data (for example, average rates by zip code) to improve our pricing. Aggregated data never identifies you or your address.
3. What we share — and what we don't
The hauler assigned to your address receives only what is needed to perform collection: your service address, service level, and pickup schedule. Haulers never receive your current provider, what you previously paid, or your payment details. We share information with service providers who run our platform (hosting, payments, email) under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Email and communications
We send transactional emails about your account and service. If you opt in to marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each message.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep account records for as long as you have service with us and as required for tax and legal purposes afterward. You may request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@trsh.co; we will respond within 30 days.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to personnel who need it, and payments are handled by a PCI-compliant processor. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information we will notify you as required by Maryland law.
7. Children
Our service is for adults arranging household services. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
