Terms of Service

1. Who we are
TRSH (“we,” “us”) arranges residential trash collection service for households in our service area. When you sign up, your service agreement is with TRSH — not with the company that physically collects your trash. We contract with licensed, insured local haulers to perform collection on our behalf, and we may assign or change the hauler serving your address at any time without notice, as long as your service level and price are unchanged.
2. Service and pricing
Your monthly rate is the amount we quote to you in writing before service begins. It includes collection service and TRSH's service fee. Your rate will not increase during the first 12 months of service except for changes you request (for example, a different service level). We will give you at least 30 days' written notice before any rate change after that period.
3. Billing
We bill your payment method monthly in advance through our payment processor (Stripe). If a payment fails, we will retry it and notify you. Continued non-payment may result in suspension of service after notice. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time by emailing support@trsh.co. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. There are no cancellation fees and no long-term commitment.
5. What we need from you
You agree to provide accurate information at signup — including your service address, current provider, and service level — and to place containers as required for collection. Information you provide about your current provider is used solely to arrange your service correctly.
6. Service issues
If a pickup is missed, contact us and we will arrange a make-up collection with the hauler, typically within 2 business days. TRSH is your single point of contact for all service issues; please do not attempt to contact the collection crew directly.
7. Limitations
Our liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid to TRSH in the three (3) months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Maryland law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Maryland.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
